Omg I'm so sorry this comment has taken forever ;__; D: damn you bestof_icons votings for interfering with everything, haha.

This is a fantastic set!! I love looking at it and the inspired20in20 set to sort of see how you've focused more on coloring in the DW set, as the subjects there maybe lend themselves to more vibrancy, while here you've clearly focused more on lighting, texture use and even experimented more with text again which is really awesome to see and I definitely see some text progress here.

But hey let's list some favorites!

Enemy has a fantastic crop, and I love how soft the whole look is. Stiles' cheek looks so peachy! And I love how sharp/in focus he is compared to the out of focus Derek. The muted skin tones work perfectly with the tenderness of the icon.

Gold has reaaally interesting texture use going on! I love the effect it creates, and it's just really awesome and cool and unique in every way and the golden tones look flattering, cohesive and pretty.

Hot, Light & Dark and ac2 all have a sort of glowier look to them, which I absolutely love in each of them. The lighting and warmth in all of them is outstanding, but especially in Light&Dark which is one of my very favorites here. Everything about it looks so smooth and soft and just so pleasant to the eye in every way, I can't stop staring at it in awe! The sharpening is really nice too, cause his features are well defined but not sharp enough to break the softness of the icon.

Imperfect is fantastic too! I LOVE the text use. Love the large line spacing, the way the words line up nicely in a rectangular block (it makes the arrangement look really purposeful and clean), and the font choice is great as well as the size. The texture use is gorgeous too; reaaaaally love that frame!

Speaking of frames, I really dig the way they're present in a lot of icons here, sort of tying the set together. The one in Unusual crop is FANTASTIC too!! I love the crop there, very inventive, and this is just a really great icon in every way and another one with stellar text use. The font is so unusual yet looks great, and I'm a sucker for large character spacing too soooo yeah I really love this sort of text :D The coloring and contrast are beautiful as well, so delicate and muted.

Wild is definitely another of my many favorites, cause I love the grunginess, and the paleness here is just so perfect, emphasizing the wild, raw nature of the icon/theme perfectly.

The category set has tons of pretty too, 5 is definitely my favorite, such a GORGEOUS composition, a different way of using negative space, and gaaaahh those LIMES. I love lime. :p and the green of the background in the Stiles image fits the greens of the texture so well. This is just fantastic texture use and coloring in every way! Cat1 has a great texture composition too and I can't stop staring at the scratchy textured background in that stunning shade of blue in cat4. ♥

The ac set is even more awesome though, I really love each and every one of them!! I already gushed about ac2, and 4 and 5 have great texture use and lighting. However my two super extra favorites here are ac1 and ac3; ac3 has such a bold, almost monochrome coloring, and I love the strong purples and the magenta of the shirt and the contrast and everything. The simple composition and texturing really leaves room for the coloring to shine and take focus. Beautiful icon in every way!
And ac1 is just ridiculously gorgeous, the vintage coloring is perfection with stunning contrast, and THE TEXT IS IMPECCABLE. I love everything about it - the font is spot on (cause it has that 'old' style look that goes perfectly with the vintage coloring), the line and character spacings are both a lot to my liking, and it stands out from the icon while still blending in enough to fit it perfectly. Class A icon right here!! *___*

Fantastic sets, both this one and inspired20in20, can't wait to see your Stiles/Derek stuff and whatever comes after that! ^^
